Professional and Personal Information
Dr. John Marsden is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the International College of Surgeons. A native Texan, Dr. Marsden was born in Mineral Wells, TX and graduated with Highest Honors from Texas Wesleyan College in Fort Worth. He attended the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston and completed his General Surgery Internship and Residency at Texas A&M University hospitals. He then completed a cardiovascular fellowship under Michael DeBakey at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Dr. Marsden began his surgical practice in Denton County in 1989 and was first certified in laparoscopic surgery in 1990.
Dr. Marsden is married to Cindi Marsden, MD, and has four children.
